MAP Pricing = Manufacturer's Advertised Price.  This mod can be used is if you sell a product  for a price that is lower than what you are able to advertise on your website.  Sometimes this could be because of restrictions by the manufacturer.  The price will only display once a customer adds it to their shopping cart.

This Zen Cart Add on module will add a couple of questions in your admin section when you are adding or editing a product, that asks if this product should have MAP pricing enabled. If MAP pricing is enabled for that product, it replaces the price on your website with text that says: "Priced so low, we're not able to advertise it. Add to cart for price." (this text can be changed to whatever you specify it to be. Or if you choose for the MAP price to be shown on the website it would show your minimum price and say "For a better price, add to your cart" (replacing your minimum price with the price you enter)

This mod requires a modification to the database as well as overwriting a few core files.
