When your customer creates an account or logs into their existing account, they are given the option to allow a cookie for them to be automatically logged in when they next return to the store. You can set the time limit on how long the cookie should last via your admin.

NOTE:  If the customer clicks the "logoff" button, then they will no longer be logged in for their next visit.
