IMPORTANT Security Fix for ALL versions of Zen Cart
This patch is for ALL versions of Zen Cart up to 1.5.6B It affects product notifications which could give access to the database and open your database up to an SQL injection by a hacker. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you either get this patch installed, or upgrade to the latest version of Zen Cart that has the patch in it already. It contains one file that does not overwrite any core files.  You can read more about it and / or download the file to upload yourself if you have the time and capability at this Zen Cart post. Zen Cart 1.5.6C Released
Late last night, the Zen Cart developers released a new version of Zen Cart - 1.5.6C which includes the security patch above and also bug fixes and security fixes. One of the good things in this latest version that I am hoping will work is Improvements to anti-spam for account creation and contact-us forms.  People have been getting inundated with bogus account signups and having their contact form spammed by robots. If you use coupons a lot (like I do), you will be happy to see that in the latest 1.5.6 version coupons can now be restricted to amount of an order or of a specific product,...

Zen Cart 1.5.6B Released
Last week the developers of Zen Cart released a new version 1.5.6B. I have been watching all the bug reports and have not felt comfortable upgrading people to 1.5.6 until this version came out, which would include all the reported bug fixes and security fixes found in 1.5.6 and 1.5.6a. Check our upgrades section if you are interested in getting the latest, most secure version of Zen Cart to run your store with.
