Question:

How do I change TagLine Here at the top of my site?

Answer:

This tagline is very useful for putting text in your header that will "pop" for your visitors and hopefully with the search engine spiders as well.  It can be a sales message, phone number, anything you want it to be.

This tagline can be edited by putting includes/languages/english/header.php in your template directory.  EG:  includes/languages/english/custom/ directory.  You really never want to overwrite a core file if you do not absolutely need to.

Once you have the file in your template overrides directory, open it up and look for
define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', 'TagLine Here');

Carefully edit the words TagLine Here - making sure to not remove the single quote marks on each side.  Then upload the file to your server.

If you want to remove the tagline from your header, simply remove the words so the line looks like this:
define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', ' ');

Lets say you want an IMAGE in that spot.  To do that, upload the image to your /images folder, making note of the filename.  We are going to use image.jpg in our example.  To add this image, simply change the code as follows:

define('HEADER_SALES_TEXT', '<img src="https://yourdomainnamehere/images/image.jpg">');

Note that the url is httpS - this is only for if you have a secure SSL certificate (and why wouldn't you?).  If you have an SSL certificate and do not add the "s" at the end of http - then your customers may get a security error in some browsers.
