PayPal Maintenance Outage - 4/19/12
PayPal is upgrading their data center on April 19, 2012 from 10:00 p.m. PDT to approximately 11:00 p.m. PDT. Preparations will begin at 9:00 p.m. PDT. Zen Cart 1.5.0 Official Release

Paypal and IRS reporting for 2011
For those of you who don't know already, the IRS is now requiring Paypal to report income on accounts that receive $20,000 in funds AND 200 transactions in a year. Because of this new requirement, you will need to add your social security number into your paypal account, or if you use a FEIN, you need to contact Paypal to supply them that info. Paypal Maintenance 8-18-11
The PayPal website and PayPal APIs will be offline August 18, 2011 from 11:00 PM PT to approximately 11:30 PM PT and buyers attempting to make payments will receive error messages and won't be able to complete their purchases. Other services that will be down during this time include Website Payments Pro Payflow edition and Batch Processing (batch.paypal.com).

Zen Cart BETA V 1.5.0 released
Zen Cart developers announced the latest release of Zen Cart - version 1.5.0 which is in BETA. What this means is that anyone who wishes to test and provide feedback for this version can do so, but it is NOT to be used on a live store. We will be doing some testing on this version starting tomorrow (Wednesday) and will keep everyone informed as to when the release is out of the BETA stage.
