Manually Processing a Credit Card OrderIf you have a brick and mortar store with a credit card processor, or perhaps use Paypal's Virtual Terminal, you can set up your Zen Cart payment module to accept credit cards and the information will be separated out for you as follows:
1. You will receive an email to the account that you specify when you set up the CC payment module that has the middle eight (8) digits of the credit card number. This email will have the subject line of: [EXTRA CC ORDER info] and the order number. 2. When you log into your Zen Cart admin, mouse over CUSTOMERS, then click on ORDERS and you will see the corresponding order listed. Click on the customers name and Zen Cart will pull up an order sheet that will have all the other credit card information that you need. ie: first and last credit card digits, what type of card it is, CVV number, etc. When you combine #1 with #2, you are now able to manually process the order with your merchant account provider. Just a note.... If you have version 1.3.8 of Zen Cart, you do not really need to use virtual terminal any more because this version of zencart incorporates Paypal Payments Pro into it! |
