As a partner, you have full control over how much money you make for a website design. You get all the information from your client as to what they want, get a quote for the design from me, mark the price up and give it to your client. The client pays you in advance, you pay me and introduce me to the client (if you wish) as your web designer and I work with them from there to build the site they want. Alternatively, you can act as the "middle man" and your client never even knows I exist.
